Things that grow...ribbon embroidery

Hello. The challenge over at CCT this week is 'things that grow...The obvious things would be plants etc but really there are lots more things that grow, we look forward to seeing your own interpretations!'

Well I wouldn't call this card cute but I had great fun making it! I've tried to keep it simple (for once!) and as I love Irises so much I thought this technique would make a change from the norm. The ribbons I used are sheer but unfortunately don't show up very well in the photo.

Hope everyone had a lovely weekend...I'm off now to have a nose at what you've been up to!

Ribbon embroidery?? Now, steady on girl. Take two aspirin and go and lie down for a bit. You'll feel better soon.

It does look nice, though. Very different. You could almost say it mooved me. Hehe!! lol ;o)
